Reports full of numbers that don't pay wages
Impressions, clicks, “keywords in the top 100”. If a report never mentions enquiries, it's hiding something.
Free ConsultYour customers are searching right now and finding someone else. We research what they type, write the pages that answer it, and get your business on the map — the work an SEO agency does, without the account manager between you and the person doing it.
If you've paid for SEO before and got nothing, it was probably one of these.
Impressions, clicks, “keywords in the top 100”. If a report never mentions enquiries, it's hiding something.
A trickle of thin content nobody searched for. Real SEO front-loads the work — you need pages that match what people actually type.
No amount of writing rescues a site Google struggles to crawl that takes six seconds to load on a phone.
How we do it differently
Most agencies drip-feed content and call it a strategy. We front-load it: research your keywords properly, then write up to thirty pages that answer what people are actually searching — and keep adding one or two a month after that. It's more work early, and it's the reason it compounds.
Which one do you need
The words get used interchangeably and they don't mean the same thing. Here's the honest difference, and where we sit.
A team, usually with an account manager between you and the specialists. Broad capability and the capacity to move fast, at a price that has to cover the head count. If you are large enough to need that, it is the right answer.
One experienced person who plans the work and often does it. Cheaper and far more direct, but capacity is finite and the strategy is only as good as the individual. You need to trust the person, not the brand.
Usually project or task based — an audit, a batch of content, a technical fix. Good value for a defined job. Less suited to the continuous work SEO actually needs month after month.
Where we sit.Knowtific is a small Melbourne studio. You get a consultant's access — you deal with the person doing the work — with an agency's scope, because the content, the technical work, the Google Business Profile and the reporting are all in the same monthly plan. What you don't get is a team of twelve and the fee that pays for it.
What's included
The honest timeline
Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either guessing or about to get your site in trouble. This is what the work actually looks like.
Keyword and competitor research, technical fixes, tracking set up properly, and the bulk of the content written. You'll see almost nothing in traffic. That's normal, and it's the month that matters most.
Content goes live, Google Business Profile is optimised, directories submitted. First movement on long-tail searches and the map pack.
Authority builds and the earlier pages start ranking. This is usually where enquiries begin climbing.
Competitive terms, new service pages, and the work you paid for in month one still paying.
No lock-in after year one
We ask for twelve months because SEO under six is money wasted. After that, you can drop back to the basic Website plan and we hand over all of it — the content, the keyword research, your Google Business Profile, your analytics. It was always yours.
