Seven stages from the first call to a site that keeps earning. Here is what happens at each one, what we need from you, and how long it takes — so there are no surprises after you sign.

The seven stages
What actually happens, week by week
Most people who ask us this have been burned before: months of silence, then an invoice. This is the antidote.
01
Discovery call
30 minutes
We do: We ask about your business, your customers, how work comes in today and what you wish happened instead. No pitch deck.
You do: Turn up and talk. If you have a site already, send us the address beforehand.
You get: An honest read on whether we can help, and roughly what it would cost.
02
Strategy & quote
A few days
We do: We work out what the site actually needs to do, which plan fits, and whether anything falls outside it — a portal, a booking system, a dashboard.
You do: Confirm the scope, and tell us about anything we have missed.
You get: A written quote with the monthly figure, the term, and a plain list of what is and is not included.
03
Design
Week 1
We do: We design the pages around your services and your customers — structure first, then the look. You see real pages, not a mood board.
You do: Send your logo, brand colours and any photos. Then review the design and mark up anything you want changed.
You get: The homepage and key page designs, adjusted until the direction is right.
04
Build & content
Weeks 2–3
We do: We build the approved design, write the copy from your discovery answers, and source or prepare the imagery. On the SEO plans, the keyword research shapes what gets written.
You do: Answer our content questions, and point us at anything only you would know.
You get: A complete website on a private preview link, with the content written for you.
05
Review & QA
Week 3
We do: We check every page on real phones and desktops, test every form end to end, run the accessibility and performance checks, and fix what they find.
You do: Read it properly and send one consolidated list of changes. This is the stage to be fussy.
You get: Your changes made, and a site that passes our technical checks before anyone sees it.
06
Launch
Week 4
We do: We point the domain, install the SSL, set up analytics and Search Console, submit the sitemap, and watch the first days closely. Redesigns get every old URL mapped to a new one.
You do: Give us access to the domain, or tell us who holds it and we will deal with them.
You get: A live website, measurement running from day one, and your rankings carried across.
07
Grow
Ongoing
We do: Hosting, backups, security and updates are handled. Content changes get done when you email them. On the SEO and Ads plans, the search and campaign work runs every month with reporting you can read.
You do: Email us when something changes in the business. That is genuinely it.
You get: A site that stays current, and a monthly report plus a call to walk you through it.
What we need from you
Your side of it, honestly
A build stalls for one reason: it is waiting on something only you can supply. Here is the full list, up front.

Logo files — the original vector if you have it
Brand colours and fonts, if they exist
Photos of your work, team or premises
We source or prepare anything missing
Words & facts
Your services and how you describe them
Areas you cover and who you sell to
Prices or price ranges you are happy to publish
We write the copy — you answer the questions
Access
Domain registrar login, or the person who has it
Existing hosting, if there is a site to move
Any current analytics or Google accounts
Google Business Profile, on the SEO plans
Time & decisions
One decision-maker who can sign off
Feedback gathered into a single list
A reply when we are waiting on you
Roughly two to three hours of your time, total
How we communicate
You email a person, and that person replies.
There is no ticketing system and no account manager relaying messages. You deal with the person doing the work, by email or on a call, and we reply within one business day. You can see who you'll be working with before you commit to anything.
During a build we check in at the end of each stage rather than sending progress updates nobody reads. After launch, content changes are unlimited and included — you email what you want changed and it gets done.
After launch
Launch is the start of the work, not the end of it
A website that nobody touches for three years is how most businesses end up needing a new one.
Everything keeps running
Hosting, domain, SSL, backups, updates, security and uptime monitoring are part of every plan. No separate hosting bill, no renewal you forgot about.
Changes are included
New prices, a new service, a photo swap, a page you no longer want — send us a message and we do it. New functionality or a redesign is a project, and we quote those.
You can leave with it
Your domain, site, ad account and analytics are yours. At the end of the term we hand over what we have built and help with the move. See the plans →
FAQs
Questions about working with us
The things people ask before they commit to a build.
Roughly a week on design, two on build and content, and the rest on review, QA and launch. The biggest variable isn't our side of it — it's how quickly content, feedback and domain access come back to us.
Roughly two to three hours in total: a 30-minute discovery call, answering our content questions, and one proper review of the finished site. We write the copy so you don't have to.
You tell us at the design stage and we change it. Nothing gets built until the direction is right, which is why design sits before build rather than alongside it.
The person doing the work. There's no account manager relaying messages and no ticketing system — you email or call, and you get a reply within one business day.
Your logo, your brand colours if you have them, any photos you want used, and access to your domain. We work from a set of questions about your business for everything else.
Nothing breaks — the timeline just moves. We'd rather wait for the right information than launch a site with placeholder text on it.
We point the domain, install the SSL and put analytics and Search Console live — usually early in the day, so there's a full working day to watch it. Old URLs are already mapped to their new ones by then, and we monitor Search Console for a fortnight afterwards.
Hosting, backups, security, updates and content changes are all part of the plan. On the SEO and Ads plans the search work runs every month, with a report and a call to walk you through it.
